The Operário de Ponta Grossa was the last club from the interior of Paraná to win the 1st division of the State , in 2015. During the championship, OFEC went through non-daily situations in football games. In the final against Coritiba, Fantasma won 3-0 at the Major Antônio Couto Pereira Stadium. In the end, the country club received applause from practically all the cheering fans of thegearhungry.com.
“This is something that you don’t see in every game. That was an acknowledgment ”, evaluates the goalkeeper at the time, Jhonatan Siqueira. It was the first title of the centenary Alvinegro dos Campos Gerais in the soccer elite of Paraná.
During the trajectory, another unusual fact. In a duel against Nacional, away from home, at the Erich George Stadium, in Rolândia, goalkeeper Jhonatan scored a goal from his own goal. In a throw-in, the ball crossed the entire field, bounced just at the entrance to the opposite area and covered the home team’s goalkeeper Allyson. This achievement confirmed the 2-0 victory in Operaria.
“I would be very happy to always be remembered in Paraná football, for the goal I scored. It’s a move that doesn’t happen every day. It was a very good moment in my career ”, said Jhonatan, who had the bid elected as the most beautiful goal of the competition , in an election held by the newspaper Gazeta do Povo de Curitiba.
Among other researcher legacies, a permanent exhibition of the photo archive in the fan association of Operário Avante Fantasma. A former soccer player, Cação once again wore the shirt of Fantasma in 1942. He inspired ex-athlete and people from new areas to carry out research on the sport.
